She Was Top of Her Class. Why Does Life Feel So Uncertain? | P4 Theater

She came first in her school. Years later, an old friend asks what she is doing now. In this edited P4 archive interview, Li Feng reflects on good grades, leaving home, graduate school, family expectations, and the difficulty of choosing a life of her own. The conversation keeps its uncertainty and humor; it does not offer a simple success formula. Original Mandarin voices. English editorial translation and Chinese captions are burned in. The opening anecdote is followed by an explicitly marked earlier passage; later excerpts follow the source order, with pauses shortened.
