VIDEO DESCRIPTION
Published description
An archival trailer for Purples, also known as Purple Action, a participatory theatre collaboration co-initiated by Shen Bolun, He Fa and Shao Yifan.
In a fictional world, participants speak, question and make decisions together. This montage brings together scenes of assemblies and individual testimony, showing how rules, attention and collective judgment become theatre.
This is the 1 minute 48 second version with the original Chinese captions and eye bars retained. The original editing, framing, speed and soundtrack are preserved. It is a project trailer, not a complete performance recording.
