VIDEO DESCRIPTION
Published description
A continuous P4 Theater working session for The Glass Menagerie. The first hour explores how participants, personal writing, everyday objects and animal imagery might enter the performance. The second hour follows a group table read, including dinner, the power cut, Laura and Jim's encounter and Tom's closing monologue. Remote participation, jokes, role assignments and page-finding remain part of the recording.
Stage proposals are discussed rather than shown as completed staging. Dialogue from the play belongs to its fictional characters and should not be read as the participants' personal histories.
Original source recording, preserved without added narration or music. Camera timestamp: 3 May 2022; not independently verified as the event date.
Subtitles: machine-reviewed original-language captions, mainly Chinese with identifiable English passages. These are not English translation subtitles. They have not been checked line by line by a human listener. Names, overlapping speech and dialect may be inaccurate; captions should not be used as the sole source for exact quotations.
