This film essay returns to the rehearsal and filming process of Shoot Self with You, where performers openly discuss framing, acting, collaboration, falling out of character, and deciding where a scene begins and ends. The argument is simple: intimacy on camera is constructed, and consent must remain active throughout that construction. Permission to perform is not a blank transfer of authorship. It must travel through staging, recording, editing, captions, thumbnails, circulation, and the possibility of withdrawal. This is not an erotic trailer. Seven sustained, chronological scenes keep preparation, negotiation, and aftermath in view.
