A Body Before Words | Human Surrender — Other Times 03

A hand presses against a translucent sheet. In another rehearsal, bodies sit, touch, listen, stand, and lie down. Eventually someone says they want to leave. A new five-minute film by He Fa / P4 Theater, created from the original Human Surrender rehearsal archive. The edit follows what bodies do before a scene finds its words, and what remains when practice relaxes into ordinary conversation. OTHER TIMES is a series of new short films drawn from Human Surrender's original shooting material. This episode is an editorial arrangement of different rehearsal moments, not a chronological account or a statement about the performers' private lives. Original Mandarin location sound. Chinese and English CC accompany the film. Unclear speech is marked rather than invented. No synthetic narration, added music, or speed changes.
