Return to Earth | A New Edit of Human Surrender

“I might have to go back to Earth.” A request to leave becomes a conversation about love, performance, and who gets to decide how a story should end. A 9-minute-41-second experimental short re-edited from Human Surrender by He Fa / P4 Theater. Passages are abridged and rearranged, with original Mandarin sound. Chinese subtitles are visible in the picture; English subtitles are available through CC. This is a new edit of the existing film, not newly discovered footage or a record of an actual space journey. The performers’ words belong to the film; they are not presented as verified private disclosures. No synthetic narration was added. The thumbnail is an AI-assisted design based on a frame from the film.
