An English essay film returns to the 2016 work Shadow Counterpoint, tracing a drowned traveler, an impostor, conflicting testimony, projection and bodily commands to ask who is allowed to remain when the copy becomes more legible than the original. It is a new editorial interpretation, not a replacement for the 22-minute full-work access copy.
