VIDEO DESCRIPTION
Published description
A body floats before we learn how it got there. At the pool's edge, an attempt begins again. In another room, someone says: loosen up.
LET THE WATER HOLD YOU is a new five-minute film from He Fa / P4 Theater's Human Surrender shooting archive. Water, rehearsal, touch and waiting pass between different moments. The camera stays close enough to feel the effort and long enough to let the effort change.
HUMAN SURRENDER — OTHER TIMES / 02
New films made from the original shooting rushes. Each episode finds another rhythm inside the archive. The selected source intervals do not repeat those used in We Have Not Left This Moment.
Original Mandarin location sound. Chinese and English CC are available. Quiet or unclear speech is marked rather than reconstructed. One return to the room is heard with displaced pool sound. Scenes are rearranged; this is an experimental montage, not a chronological account of the performers' private lives. No synthetic narration or generated footage.
Original project: He Fa / P4 Theater
Editing collaboration: Codex
