Back There, Once More

继续观看： 《拼不回去》 https://youtu.be/B-nUqJ3PMwg 《当我不存在》 https://youtu.be/Z_1rVLSQDtI —— ENGLISH —— After seven or eight years, would she still remember you? During a break in filming, a conversation moves from childhood neighbourhoods and a deep well to the woman who ran a little shop. “Do you remember me?” She pauses. Then remembers a childhood name. BACK THERE, ONCE MORE is a short film newly edited from a conversation recorded during Human Surrender rehearsals and filming. Someone recalls returning to a childhood shop; people from the past and friends in the present seem, for a moment, to share the room. “But by making a film, you can go back once more. You cannot live back then forever.” Who still remembers your childhood name? Recorded 21 July 2023. Edited in 2026. These are memories shared in conversation, not re-enacted childhood scenes. Original location sound. No added score or narration. Chinese and English subtitles are embedded; separate CC tracks are also provided. Some repeated speech is lightly condensed. Contains changing coloured lights and projections. The cover uses an actual frame from this film with title typography. The film uses original recorded footage.
